Vintage 1945 Handsome Tuttle Sterling Silver 5pc Revere Style Tea Set

Presented is a wonderful Tuttle sterling silver 5 piece tea set. This set dates to 1945. The set is done in a classical Paul Revere style, with reverse baluster form bodies and reeded rims. The handles of the teapot and coffee pot are beautifully carved from rich dark wood, with matching wooden finials on the two pots as well as the sugar bowl. These pieces are spotlessly clean inside and out, ready for use or display.
The set consists of:
Teapot: 10 inches from spout to handle, 6 3/4 inches tall. Capacity of 2 3/4 pints (44 fluid ounces/1.3 liters)
Coffee pot: 8 inches tall. Capacity of 2 1/4 pints (36 fluid ounces/1.06 liters)
Sugar bowl: 7 inches from handle to handle, 5 1/2 inches tall.
Creamer: 5 1/2 inches tall.
Waste bowl: 4 3/4 inches in diameter, 3 1/2 inches tall.
This set is in great overall condition. There is a small ding to the front of the creamer, but no other flaws.
Each piece is stamped with the Tuttle maker's mark as well as sterling, handwrought, the number 450, and the date mark of HT I, indicating the pieces were made during the first year of Harry Truman's presidency, 1945.
The total weight for the set is 2068 grams or 72.9 regular ounces.
