Tiffany Coffee Set 21252 22938 Traditional Georgian American Sterling Silver.
Georgian-style sterling silver 3-piece coffee set on tray. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York. Coffeepot: Upward tapering body with curved bottom and round stepped foot. Fluted s-scroll spout and hinged and domed cover with stained-wood and sterling silver finial. Also stained wood is high-looping capped s-scroll handle. Creamer: Baluster with v-spout, capped double-scroll handle, and round stepped foot. Sugar: Hemispheric bowl on round stepped foot.
Reassuringly old fashioned from the dark days of World War II.
All pieces fully marked including maker's stamp, director's letter m (1907-47), and wartime star (1943-5). Coffee, creamer, and sugar have pattern no. 22938 and tray has pattern no. 21252.
