One Sterling Silver (.925) candy dish made for the Harris & Shafer Co by Meriden Britania co. Made with Repousse floral embellishments, this unique 6 sided candy dish is itself shaped like a flower. Stamped with the makers mark, Sterling, the numbers 534, and Harris & Shafer Co. Estimated to have been made in the late 19th century to the early 20th century in Meriden, Connecticut. Harris & Shafer Co. were prominent silver retailers of the Washington, D.C. area from 1880-1915.

Although the monogram is listed as a defect, if you were to fill this dish with candy and keep it filled all the time, no one would ever know it was there and the people eating said candy would always be happy
