Eagle 31/Azteca Hallmark /925/ 1722 missed stamped 1711
This mark is attributed to Plateria Azteca (mark: Azteca and Aztec warrior head).
I believe I see an eagle mark of 31. According to Hougart's book,
Plateria Azteca's use of (Hector) Aguilar's eagle 31
was supposed to be restricted to those items manufactured on behalf of Hector Aguilar.
Hougart's description to a similar mark ca.
1949-1952. Reading under Hector Aguilar's entry, it states: "Aguilar
also contracted with Horacio de la Parra's Plateria Azteca to produce hollowware.
The "Azteca" items are marked with eagle 9 or 31 and a design or production number."
"It is likely that Plateria Azteca was one of many companies purchased by Conquistador in the 1940s
