Gorham BUTTERCUP Sterling Silver 5-Piece Coffee / Tea Set, Monogram "S"

This listing is for a lovely 5-piece Gorham Sterling Silver coffee/tea set in the beautiful BUTTERCUP pattern issued in 1899. Each piece has a fancy single-letter monogram "S" in fancy cartouche on one side. The hinge on both the coffee and teapot are tight and the lids open and close correctly. The coffee pot and teapot have natural heat spacers on handles.
Each piece is marked on the base with the Gorham trademark stamp and "Sterling" with the individual piece model number

Set consists of
:
1.  Coffee Pot #A2341 (2 Pints) - Measures 7 1/4" high, 8 1/2" wide (from spout to handle) and 4 1/2" deep. Weighs 500 grams.
2.  Teapot #A2342 (1 5/8 Pints) - Measures 5 1/2" high, 8 1/2" wide (spout to handle) and 4 1/2" deep. Weighs 430 grams.
3.  Creamer #A2344 (7/8 Pints) - Measures 4 1/4" high, 5 1/2" wide (spout to handle) and 3 1/2" deep. Weighs 215 grams.
4.  Lidded Sugar Bowl #A2343 - Measures 4 3/4" high (to top of finial), 7 1/4" wide (handle to handle) and 4 1/2" deep.  Weighs 300 grams.
5.  Waste #A2345 - Measures 3 1/4" high, 5 1/2" wide and 4" deep. Weighs 190 grams.
Combined weight is 1635 grams.
This beautiful set is in very good to excellent Estate condition with the only noted flaw being that the waste is slightly misshapen at the rim with the rim not being perfectly level and there are a few minor nicks in this area. Other than this issue at the rim which can easily be corrected by someone who knows what they are doing, the set is in great condition reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.
