    Description

    Gorham 6 Piece Sterling "Plymouth" Coffee and Tea Set (1911) with plate tray. No monogram.
    Excellent condition except for a very small dent on the coffee pot (see photo); set contains coffee and tea pots, covered sugar bowl, creamer, and waste bowl — all sterling. The handled silver plate tray measures 18”x25” and has an engraved design.
    The hinged tea and coffee pot handles are reinforced, and each piece is stamped with the Gorham hallmarks, Sterling, name of design (Plymouth), and number possibly indicating date of manufacture or series:
    Coffee pot - 2441; tea pot - 2442; sugar bowl - 2413; creamer - 2414; waste bowl - 2415.
    In addition, 3 pieces are stamped with its liquid volume: coffee - 2 3/8 pint; tea - 2 pint; creamer - 3/8 pint.
