Description
This nice solid silver coffee pot was made in Paris in the late 1800's
by the well-known maker Flamant. It is finely decorated and in very good
condition. There is no damage to the feet or the spout; the handle insulators
are excellent, the lid closes properly and the inside of the pot is very clean.
There is a little bent in the metal of the lid (picture 4) and an area on the
right side of the body, near the spout, shows a little dent and some marks to
the surface (picture 12). The coffee pot is about 26 cm high, 24 cm long (handle to spout) and the
body is 17.5 cm wide. It weighs 696 grams. The “Flamant” diamond-shaped makers mark
is under the pot, and the Minerva silver mark, for 950 silver, is visible on
the base and on the lid.
