AMAZING GORHAM STERLING MONOGRAMMED TEA SET, CIRCA 1900, w/SILVER PLATE TRAY
Beautiful antique sterling silver set includes standing tilt tea kettle, coffee pot, creamer & sugar bowl.  Ornate design.  Hallmarks on the bottom of each piece.  Marked sterling, along with numbers A511-A516.  Marked 1903.  Each piece monogrammed.  Pattern is similar to Grand Chantilly.  Water kettle has its original decorated burner.  The set is shown with a heavy silver plated tray.  It's not a match buts shows nicely with this set.  See photos for details.  The tea kettle on its stand is 14-1/2" tall, 10-1/2" on its own with 4-3/4" base diameter & measures 9" from handle to spout.  The coffee pot stands 9-3/4" tall on a 4-5/8" base diameter.  It measures 9-3/4" across from handle to spout.  The creamer stands 6" tall on a 3" base diameter.  It measures 4-7/8" across from handle to spout.  The sugar bowl stands 6-3/4" tall with the lid on a 4-7/8" base diameter.  It measures 7-1/2" across at the handles.  The set weighs just over 8 pounds/3636 grams not including the tray.  The tray measures 28" by 17-1/2" & weighs 8 pounds 11 ounces.  Good vintage condition.  There are some surface scratches & tarnish from use & a few minor dents.  Displays beautifully!!
