1934-1944 Stodart's Scotch Whiskey Bottle w/original Tax Stamp and Box. Vintage.

Volume listed as "Less than 1/2 Pint"
The Tax Stamp (Strip) dates the bottle to 1934-1944. During this first ten years of post-prohibition, tax stamps had the volume of the bottle on the each end of the strip. The ten years after this, there was no volume information on this part of the strip.
Box is in quote clean condition. The Amber bottle has a beautiful, clean, off white lable. Notice the pictures of the bottom of the bottle. The glass is rough with streak and a section of the bottom that can actually be picked at with a fingernail. I believe this area to be a factory glass defect considering the length the original owner went to preserve this bottle with its original tax strip and kept as it was inside it's original box
